Essen wie beim Sultan

Asitane

In the morning sun

Just arround the corner of cofoco is a nice place to sit in the morning sun and enjoy scandinavian breakfest with yoghurt, black bread, jam and coffe.

Cofoco is an exciting little place in the middle of Copenhagen. The downstairs restaurant is modern and clean but not cold and offers a french style 3 course menu an a decent wine list for scandinavia.
But don't forget where you are if you are outside for a smoke it can happen that the waiters decide oh must have left for good and lets clean up! And your table including the half full bottle of wine are cleared and the service personal wonders where from and why you reappeared - taking it slow ?!?! why. STILL a pleasent place to go and surely good food.

Seafood by the KG as fresh as possible cheap and great quality. This is not a cozy but more a working class style place. So get spider crab and sea snails and enjoy ;-)

Sleeping and Eating in Belleville/Nation

Hotel - Mama Shelter

Nice hotel for sleeping in Paris when rooms come for less than 100€ per night. Design by Philippe Starck a bit too much like east and other design hotels.

Just around the corner in Rue des Pyrenees is

L'Ange Gardien
Rue des Pyrenees

A very nice, small, French restaurant with a changing menu, very fair prices especially for the specials of the day and a very friendly and worm service, none of the rude efficiency that you can experience in other places.

In this place you travel back centuries, step into a long lost world. A world where everything revolves around cooking and kitchen stuff.

Food Shoping on Sunday mornings

Rue des Martyrs
Grands Boulevards

Apart from a large selection of groceries, cheese shops and fish vendors, several trendy bars and restaurants have opened up shop and attract a crowd that does not only come for their daily stuff anymore.
On Sunday mornings the pleasant street is the meeting place for a coffee, with or without some of the delicious pastry you can find in one of the “patisseries”

And if you are hungry from all that shopping and looking a food try a littel place half way up the road:

Fuxia
25 Rue des Martyrs
75009 Paris

Lovely place with good food for a lunch and some wine to go with that. Try Pappadelle with gambas and pastis, pasta can be sooo good!

Paris - Essen

Fish-La Boissonerie (No 19)
Prix fixe menu € 35.00
69 rue de Seine - Quartier Latin
+330143543469

Tue – Sun 12:30 – 14:30 & 19:00 – 23:00

Just off the busy Boulevard Saint Germain in the 6e arrondissement, Fish – La Boissonerie is the perfect spot for a fabulous meal. The restaurant gets its name from the interesting fact that its located in an old fish-mongers shop, evidenced by the colorful tiling that remains around the entrance.

Check the chalkboard behind the bar for a list of specially selected “wines of the week”.
The restaurant tends to always be packed so reservations are a must, or arrive when the place opens and grab a seat at the bar and take your meal from there.

New York 2 - Essen

Ich würde abends im Meatpacking district und Lower East weggehen, am besten tagsüber mal gucken.

Klasse Restaurants sind:

Stanton social in der lower east side, Standon Street (cool, fusion)
www.thestantonsocial.com

Spice market im Meatpacking District (403 West 13th Street, New York, NY 10014, Tel: +1 (212) 675-2322) SUPER
www.spicemarketnewyork.com

Peasant in SOHO und ein richtig ursprünglicher Italiener, wird teuer wg. wein und Handmade Pasta. Dennoch, lecker, direkt daneben sind zwei weitere Bars

Freemans ist für Fleischesser der Hammer auch lower east
www.freemansrestaurant.com
Tel: +1 212-420-0012

WD 50 in der lower east (50 Clinton Street,New York, NY 10002, Phone: +1 212.477.2900) design, lecker, aber teuer
www.wd-50.com
